In Step #1 you printed your Bond Assignment Form. Before cashing in your State of Israel Bonds, you must first assign your bond by using that form.

Please follow carefully the instructions below for correct bond assignment.

A) Do not sign the actual State of Israel Bond.

B) Please print a separate assignment form for each bond.

C) All bond holders must sign the assignment form on the appropriate line.

D) Before signing, please take your assignment form to your local bank. Sign your name as it appears on your bond in front of your bank officer. Then, have your bank officer guarantee your signature on the appropriate line. (Please read the "Instructions for Guarantee" on the assignment form.)

E) If one bond holder is deceased, a guaranteed copy (by your bank officer) of his/her original death certificate is required in addition to the assignment form by the other bond holder, in order to cash your bond.

F) If your bonds are in the name of an organization or corporation, you will then need a signature guaranteed corporate resolution (stating who in the corporation has the right to assign the bonds) in addition to the assignment form. G) Besides signing your name and your bank officer's signature guarantee on the assignment form, please leave everything else on the assignment form BLANK. All too often, people write wrong information on the assignment form which only causes them to have to do everything over again, thereby prolonging the time for them to receive the much wanted cash for their State of Israel Bonds.
